Reading Room

The reading room is a simple solution to a simple problem. A corner within an existing Jain Upashray was converted into a library and a reading room. The only challenge was to create an enclosure by closing the open corner. While creating this corner vertical surface we chanced upon the idea of doing something more that just a skin. We designed the wall in a way that it could also be used as a reading table when necessary. This rather simple gesture was well received and created immense cost benefits to the client.
